If you haven't seen this yet, see it now. Might be the most ridiculous goal I've ever seen. The only one that compares is, fittingly, when Gretzky baseball-swung a waist-high puck from the high slot (a good 50 feet away) past the goalie. This was nuts. Watch till the end, when they show the last replay. It's absurd.

Man, Ovechkin is a damn good player, but that's pure luck if I've ever seen it.

Good AND lucky. Yeesh.
You should see the goal he scored last night, too. Put a video game move on some poor schlub who nearly lost his footing and fell over trying to keep up with Obechkin.
