My new favorite 99.9FM "We Play Anything" sequence of songs:
Digital Underground - "Humpty Dance"
Frank Sinatra - "That's Life"
Harvey Danger - "Flagpole Sitta"
With no breaks between songs. And that's gotta be the third or fourth time I've heard Humpty Dance on that station...

Heh, that sounds like my iPod. I had Ralph Stanley's "O Death" followed up by Queen and David Bowie's "Under Pressure" followed by Tia Carrere's version of "Ballroom Blitz" from the Wayne's World soundtrack on my way home tonight.
I think programmers are finally starting to realize that people like all kinds of different music. And that by catering to that, they can profit. Which, of course, is the real point of radio.
